Event Terms

These terms outline the terms and conditions for participation in the WCC Congress, organized by Maccabi World Union and sponsored by Maccabi World Union and the Azrieli Foundation. The event will take place from July 8-10, 2025 in Jerusalem. The purpose of the event is to bring together inspiring women of action— athletes, entrepreneurs, activists, and thought leaders—committed to creating bold solutions where conventional approaches have fallen short. To support attendees, the sponsor will cover various costs, including accommodations, transportation, meals, and activities, as detailed below. By confirming attendance, participants agree to the terms set forth in this document.

Your registration for the Event via the WCC Registration Form indicates your agreement to these terms. Please read these terms carefully. If you are not in agreement and full compliance with these terms, you are prohibited from participating in the Event.

1. Eligibility and Participation
  • Participation is by invitation only and subject to our approval, in our sole discretion.
  • You must confirm your participation in the Event by June 8, 2025 to secure the benefits outlined below.
  • The Event requires a pass to enable entry, and you will be required to provide evidence for your identity in order that your pass will be issued to you. We reserve the right to refuse you entry to the Event if you fail to produce a pass when requested. You may not sell, transfer, or share your Event pass.
2. Payment of Registration Fee
  • You may cancel and receive a full refund of the U.S. $100 registration fee until July 1, 2025 by sending an email to  wcc@kenes-events.com.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after this date.
3. Provided Benefits

We will provide each Event participant with the following benefits:

  • Hotel Accommodations: We will cover hotel room costs at a designated hotel as follows:
    • For international participants, from July 7, 2025 through July 11, 2025 (date of checkout).
    • For Israeli participants, from July 8, 2025 through July 10, 2025 (date of checkout)

You are responsible for any incidental charges.

  • Airport Transportation: For international participants, complimentary car service will be provided between the airport and the hotel on specified arrival date.
  • Meals and Tours: All meals during the Event and scheduled tours are included.
  • Flight Reimbursement: You are responsible for booking your flights. We will reimburse up to 400 US dollars (from Europe) and 800 US dollars (from the rest of the world) of the flight cost after the event, upon submission of valid receipts and completion of all event activities. To receive flight reimbursement, you must:
    • Submit a reimbursement form and flight receipt within 30 days after the event concludes.
    • Ensure participation in all mandatory event sessions and activities.

Reimbursements will be processed within 30 days of receipt of the required documentation.

4. Currency and Exchange Rates
  • If flight expenses are incurred in a currency different from the reimbursement currency, the reimbursement amount will be calculated based on the official exchange rate published by the Bank of Israel on the date the reimbursement is processed.
  • Please note that due to currency fluctuations, the reimbursed amount in your local currency may differ slightly from the original amount paid. We will not be responsible for any exchange rate differences or bank charges incurred during the reimbursement process.
5. Cancellations and No-Shows
  • Cancellations: If upon our approval you accept the right to participate in the Event, you must notify us of your cancellation of your participation in the Event at least 14 days before the Event. Late cancellations may result in your being responsible for incurred costs.
  • No-Shows: Your failure to attend the Event without prior notice may result in you bearing full costs of hotel accommodations and other expenses incurred on your behalf.
6. Code of Conduct
  • You are expected to conduct yourself professionally and respectfully at all times during the Event.
  • We reserve the right to revoke participation privileges for behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

7. Liability and Insurance

  • We are not liable for any personal injuries or loss or damage to personal property during the Event.
  • Prior to attending the Event, you are required to obtain adequate insurance suitable for your own requirements for the Event, including personal accident and travel insurance.
8. Data Protection and Privacy

Personal information collected will be used solely for Event related purposes and in accordance the [Event’s Privacy Statement].

9. Photography and Filming
  • By attending the Event, you acknowledge that photographs, filming, and/or web streaming (video and audio) may be taken at the Event.
  • We reserve the right to use images and videos and recordings taken at the Event in future marketing materials, including social media channels, websites, and print material, without obtaining any further approval from you or making any payment to you.
  • If you do not wish your photograph or a video of you to be taken at the Event, please notify to us at Privacy@wcc-global.org before the Event, and we will use reasonable efforts to comply with your request. However, you are advised that incidental inclusion of some images of yourself within any videos, recordings, or photos may take place.
10. Assistance – Dietary requirements (where applicable)
  • If you need any special assistance (e.g. in relation to a person who is blind/visually impaired or a person with a physical disability), you should email us at Privacy@wcc-global.org.
  • Please note that we are not responsible nor liable for any costs and/or expenses you may incur due to this special assistance, and you hereby disclaim any and all rights to claim for damages and/or indemnification against us.
11. Force Majeure

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event in the event of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of government or regulatory authorities, strikes, civil unrest, war, terrorism, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will not be liable for any costs or damages incurred by you as a result of the cancellation or changes.

12. Limitation of Liability

We will try our best to do everything we can to make the Event a great and smooth experience. However, we cannot be held responsible for any personal losses, unexpected costs, or issues that may come up during travel or during the Event. This includes things like flight delays, lost luggage, or changes to the event schedule. If something does go wrong, our responsibility, for any damages or liability for any reason, is limited to reimbursing you for the registration fee and eligible travel expenses as outlined in this document—nothing beyond that.

13. Entire Agreement and Amendments
  • We reserve the right to amend these terms. Any changes will be communicated to you promptly.
  • These terms constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us. You confirm that you have not relied upon any statement, representation or understanding that is not expressly set out in these terms and that you shall have no remedy in respect of any statement, representation or understanding that is not expressly set out in these terms.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Israel and the Tel Aviv – Jaffa courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.
