Women Leading Change through AI & Innovation
Women Champions for Change (WCC), in partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), convened an inspiring conversation exploring the opportunities, challenges, and responsibilities presented by artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Moderated by Ayelet Mavor, the panel featured Tal Harary, Creative Director of Generative AI for Good and creator of Her Voices; Zada Haj, Co-Founder of Future Holders; and Paula Kweskin, filmmaker and Co-Founder of The 49%. Drawing on their diverse experiences in technology, entrepreneurship, education, and storytelling, the speakers examined how AI can be harnessed to amplify voices, address social challenges, foster innovation, and strengthen human connection, while also confronting questions of ethics, misinformation, and trust.
Building on conversations initiated during WCC’s recent delegation to the International Dialogue of Civilizations and Tolerance Conference in Abu Dhabi, the event highlighted the important role women are playing in shaping how technology is developed, applied, and governed. Throughout the discussion, participants reflected on a shared belief: that while technology may shape the future, it is ultimately human values, dialogue, and leadership that determine whether it becomes a force for division or for positive social change.
