Women’s Voices at the Center of Regional Dialogue
This June, Women Champions for Change (WCC), convened 28 women social change leaders from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) on an historical mission to Abu Dhabi to participate in the International Dialogue of Civilizations and Tolerance Conference (IDCT 2026), convened by Emirates Scholar Center for Research and Studies.
Representing diverse communities, sectors, and leadership journeys, the delegation demonstrated the vital role women play in shaping dialogue, building trust, and strengthening regional cooperation.
Over three days, delegates connected with regional decision-makers, launched WCC’s first-of-its-kind mapping report of women-led organizations across MENA, and explored new opportunities for cross-border collaboration and social impact.
The delegation reflected WCC’s vision of a more connected, collaborative, and hopeful region – one where women are not only part of the conversation, but helping to shape its future.
